GnS Legal acts for Project Management Consultant in preparing a winning bid for a project under Green Climate Fund.
GnS Legal advised a Project Management Consultant (PMC) in winning the bid for a 250 million funded project. The PMC would be in charge of running the whole project and would work closely with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in executing the project, an initiative of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change supported by the UNDP under the Green Climate Fund.
The project establishes India as a leader in climate action. It marks India’s essential step to reach its goals outlined in the Paris Agreement and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These global compacts call on every nation to end poverty and hunger by 2030 and take strong action to ensure no one is left behind to protect vulnerable people from the extreme impacts of climate change.
This initiative will particularly address India’s strategic plan to achieve its nationally determined contributions under the Paris Agreement, which focuses on adaptation efforts in vulnerable communities.
GnS Legal, led by partner Abhay Pratap Singh and associate Aaryaan Sadanand, advised the PMC to prepare RFQ/RFP, during pre-bid negotiations and the contract negotiation stage.
